Alicia Lawson Award
The Ferntree Gully Falcons are proud to have this award and in unfortunate circumstances have named it after a beautiful person who’s life was taken too soon.
Alicia Lawson, passed away at the age of 36. She was an integral part in building the culture of the Ferntree Gully Falcons that we enjoy and embrace today.
She’s was part of basketball throughout Victoria in different capacities – as a player and coach and then onto the scorebench – and was always the first to put her hand up and help.
Alicia was and will always be a beloved member of our community, and her selflessness and kind hearted nature will be sorely missed. The Award is a small way in which the Ferntree Gully Falcons can say thank you to a truly beautiful person.
